Birdwatch - Birdshow

This booklet contains the instructions and diagrams for the Bird Show Quilt.
The Birdwatch—Devonstone Collection is featured in this versatile sewing project.

This quilt can be created by machine piecing, hand piecing, machine appliqué, finished-edge fusible appliqué, or needle-turn appliqué technique. Everyone has a chance to decide which approach is suitable for their goal, so everyone will enjoy the sewing.

This quilt project moves your creativity because you can decide how many blocks you want to make. If you make only one block, you can insert it into any other quilt project. You can decorate a cushion, a bag, or even the back of a quilt coat or a denim jacket. You can make a small wallhanging sewing only four blocks.

The possibilities are endless. Furthermore, you can choose from four different bird positions (A, B, C, and D). With this option you can create many variations of the birds using the eighteen (18) different colours of the Birdwatch—Devonstone Collection.

You can design your unique Bird Show quilt, or you can use my quilt design as a reference. It is up to you. Only one thing is important: have fun playing with the fabrics and enjoy the whole process.
