My love for sewing began when I was twelve years old. The first sewing machine I ever touched was owned by my grandmother. I spent one year in home-education being taught by her and loved the intensive one-on-one sewing sessions that we had together, I still sew on that sewing machine today! Since then, I have always had the need to be creating something and find great satisfaction and relaxation in making something with my own two hands.

Of recent years, I have been smitten by the amazing ranges of modern fabrics being produced by fabric designers around the world and have felt a need to design funky sewing patterns to compliment these fabrics.

I live by the beach in Tasmania, Australia with my husband, Jaron and our three adorable children, Oscar (4), Lil (2) and baby Tommy. My favourite place to be is with them. I love being a wife and a mother and find great satisfaction in being able to stay at home doing things that make me feel happy.

My sewing pattern line encompasses my passion for creating unique, modern clothing and vibrant educational toys. Make It Perfect patterns are easy enough for even a beginner sewer to put together whilst still looking professional and impressive.
